Grants School Parade!

Grant had his school Halloween parade on Thursday. It is always so much fun to see all of the kids dressed up. They get so excited.

A Busy But Fun Saturday 10-24-2009

Grant participated in a kids Monster Triathlon on Saturday. He was so excited and we did not have any trouble getting him up early...even though he said it was earlier than school and even church!! It was also pretty chilly so I was proud that he did not wine or complain coming put of the pool and running outside. Here he is showing off his number 315. Grant and his friend Williams Smith. The Smith's have done this for 3 years and we were so glad they told us about it. What a fun memory!!

Next we were off to the Stake Volleyball Tournament...Our girls worked well together (it did hurt that we had 2 girls that play Varsity for the High School! :) We ended up taking 2nd in the Stake. Good job Camille!!

Then it was off to Grant's soccer game. This is the second year he has played with this little team and we love it!. Great group of boys and the the coach is great as well....

Like I said it was a busy but FUN day! So grateful to have Camille and Grant still at home...what would we do without them?!

Run In The Dark Sept. 2007

It has been somewhat of a tradition to run in the cities fun run they have to raise money for the storehouse in our community. Grant was so excited that we signed up again to run this year and he talked about all week. We thought we better do the 1 mile fun run so that it was short for Grant and of course for me....:)I took the stroller just in case he need it. He ran the whole way and did not stop even once. I ended up pushing an empty stroller! These are really funky pictures but they are all I have. Steve, Grant and I am the end of both races...

We all love the fresh fruit and COLD water at the end of the race.

The fun thing that happened is that we decided we would just run/walk the 5 K for a little bit. we ran into the Hicksons and Grant caught his second wind and wanted to run with his friend Hailey. Those two little kids ran most of that race. It was so darling to watch them. Grant's face was beat red but he was determined not to give in...Steve and I on the other hand were tired and decided to step out to try to take some pictures as they ran back or way. As we were walking back to the race grant said.."Dad. I can't believe you cut." !! He is watching!

Fossil Rim....Labor day 2009

We had a fun Labor Day! We ended up going to Fossil Rim with our friends the Rousseau's and the Fitzpatrick's. The kids loved it! Can you say OSTRICH?? The Ostrich is always a highlight at Fossil Rim. They are one of the last things you see and they are so entertaining!! One interesting fact we read yesterday is that their brain is smaller than their eyeball. Isn't that a fun fact you would want everyone coming to see you to know!? :) This is the caravan....the Rousseau's and the Fitzpatrick's. Kelly on the look out.

It was faces and laughs like this that made the day so fun. It was pretty pricey but was worth it!

GROSS! Steve loved the Elk. I told him he had to wash my car after all of the slobber that he allowed from these beasts! It was pretty funny. We passed a lot of purell and wet ones around.

Here is our darling Pierce. I love that boy. He could pass for one of my kids. I still can't talk Christine into giving him to me!!!
