Tyler and Kaylee
"You will have significant experinces. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experinces." -Gordon B. Hinckley
HOWDY YA'LL!! EH?
All of us outside after the Temple session.
I look at this picture ( with tears streaming down my face) and cannot believe that my babies are to this point in life. I can remember so vividly them running in and out of our home in Desoto, Texas when they were all so small. Tyler with his soccer gear or gathering kids to play street hockey. Carly in her swimsuit with the neighbor girls or standing at my door trying to scare me with the latest grass snake they found. Blake jumping on the trampoline free bird or working in the yard. (yes, even back then Blake liked yard work) It was a wonderful weekend of reflection for me. I am so grateful for GREAT kids!
Joel in his work get up.
Not only did we celebrate Tyler's graduation but we had Joel's birthday, Steve and my 27th Anniversary and Blake going through the temple all in a 2 day time frame. Blake is making this cake for Joel's Birthday. It is in the image of "TEX " ..Tyler and Kaylee's dog that Joel loves.
The kids waiting for graduation to start. Tyler graduated from the Business School. I am pretty sure it was one of the largest graduation on campus that day. With the last name of Williams we were there to the bitter end and it was great!!
Tyler, Kayle and us outside after graduation.
The family...minus Joel (working) and Dad (taking the picture.)
Walking across the stage.
We were looking all over for Tyler as the hundreds of people walked in. ...trying to figure out where he was. It was funny when I finally looked right in front of us and there he was...only about 8 rows down from us! How lucky was that?!
It was a wonderful graduation. Bill Marriott was one of the speakers. The story he told of his family and himself was so inspiring. He is such a successful man but gives so much in return. It was an emotional experience for me when the Dean of the collage was asking for the graduates to stand as things applied to them. Some of the things he asked was...how many speak 2, 3,4,5 languages. How many have served a mission. How many have lived in another country. How many were married....with children. It was so impressive as to how many stood at each question. I dare to say that you would not have found so many well rounded graduates at any other University in the US. It made me so thankful and proud to have been blessed to be educated at BYU and now have my own children there to share in that blessing.
Grant learned about his teacher's VERY FRAGILE eggs at school and he wanted one of his very own. He could not believe we could blow the yoke out through such a small hole. It was lots of fun and we made several of them. Camille thought it was just plain GROSS. I am sure she has done this before. :)
The HUNT! The fun and joy of childhood. It doesn't seem to matter if you are 5 or 15.

We were invited to eat dinner with some great friends Leslie and Christine. It was so kind of them to think of us even when they had family coming over. It was nice to spend time with them and dinner was of course so YUMMY. Leslie made his famous cinnamon rolls and they were to die for. I ate 2 and that was after I had eaten a huge meal...( i know I shouldn't admit that) They were honestly that good. We took this flower arrangement to them as a thank you. Grant was so happy to help arrange it.
How grateful I am for this special day and for sacrifice that was made for each of us by our elder brother. We were able to listen to General Conference all day and hear wise testimony from our Prophet and his apostles. It is truly one of my favorite times of year. It was so nice to have Easter and General Conference fall on the same day.
I think they are pretty artistic. People pay good money for pictures like this now-a-days...HA
