Labor Day turned out to be a beautiful day so we decided to take full advantage of it. Camille invited a few of her friends and we all set out for a hike and picnic. The area that we had planed to go to was closed due to bear activity. That always gets my attention. I never use to give much thought about bears but my fear of snakes has transferred to a big fear of bears!! We found a beautiful little place to hike a little farther down the road.

As we hiked off the beaten path we ran into this beautiful little meadow
that opened up in the middle of all of these trees.
It was a beautiful little spot where we all played Frisbee.
I did feel the need to look around for bears from time to time. :) |

It was a fun day and perfect ending to the summer. The kids started school the next day. I feel Fall in the air. The summers are way too short here that is for sure but we sure took advantage of all the days we had.
