DID YOU KNOW.... that the term turtle is a large term that would include some tortoises? And some tortoises are turtles but turtles are NOT tortoises???? Neither did I but Grant has one...a tortoise that is!

Grant and his money jar. (Well it is a plastic container because the first jar broke all over the kitchen floor. ) Grant worked his little heart out saving money for his new friend.

Way to go Grant! So proud of you Buddy! You can bring your tortoise over for a play date (we have any number of playmates over here...fish, dog, bird, frog).

man, that is one patient little guy to wait until he had his money saved up...we have ruined Aiden...he is an instant gratification kind of person...no idea who he takes after...;)
