Hotter N' Hell 100 8-2009

It has become a tradition for the last 4 years for some or all of the family (except me of course..it does not sound like one bit of fun to me..WHY? Ha ) to ride bikes in the HHH race in Wichita Fall Texas. It is a 100 mile bike ride at the hottest time of year in Texas. They head up on Friday night and stay in a hotel there and then start the race real early on Sat. morning. This year Steve and Carly did 25 miles....and Blake and Steve's nephew Mark did all 100 miles. Here is Blake at the finish line. He did it in 6 hours...not too bad. Steve, Mark and Blake. This is one of the only times you can wear a cuss word on your shirt...Bishop! Ha

It amazes me that people sign up and pay money to do something that is painful! :) But what a sense of accomplishment. Good work guys!
